Lisa was terrific from the first day I met with her to discuss putting my parents house on the market in early summer 2021. My father had just passed away and my mother was confined to the house on oxygen and Lisa said it would be too difficult to list and show the house at that time, concentrate on your family first. I was driving to Port St Lucie from Parkland weekly dealing with my father's financial and medical affairs along with the task of trying to clean out items accumulated over the 25 years they lived in the house. Lisa told me at that time not to worry about selling the house to concentrate on all the affairs for the family, it would be too overwhelming a task for me during this time. Kristi overheard me in a Post Office saying I needed to sell my late mother's home in Palm Bay, FL. I got a card and contacted her to view the home. She spent more than an hour at the initial property visit and discussed all issues, large and small, that would require attention to make the house marketable. She prepared a bullet-point summary of the walk-through and staging plan.
I needed to return to my home in Utah to take care of other issues and asked her if she could handle all logistics to make the home presentable and work with me long-distance. No problem.
She handled everything from clearing out clutter to working with handymen, charities and cleaning services.
All the while that I was on the other side of the country, she always stayed in close touch by phone/email to discuss how things were progressing. The 3rd buyer closed on the home, and her commission was not enough to cover the tremendous effort she put into it, in my opinion.

Sometimes real estate transactions go very smooth, and at the end of the process you are left wondering "was the agent fee really worth it?". This was the case after my first mortgage experience - the seller was motivated, the house was in great shape, the loan pulled through without issues, but I was on the phone 15 times a day handling the little details to make sure everything went smooth. It was first buying experience and I figured it was just how these things go. My second leading experience was absolutely nothing like the first. The house had things to fix, the seller was very difficult to work with and unresponsive, the appraisal didn't hit our loan target, there was a small mountain of things to handle. Lisa, the agent who handled my second buying experience, took the brunt of those conversations and made decisions on my behalf after thoroughly getting to understand my needs as a buyer. We made an offer on a house, I got my financing in order, and then I answered just a few calls to tidy up issues that she needed me to weigh in on. Just like that we were at closing. The process was even smoother than the first despite some of the hurdles, and most importantly I didn't have to micro manage the details. On top of all of that she got me a Tennant to rent our previous property before we even moved out! Some agents just go through the motions, Lisa is not that agent. She is exceptionally well qualified to handle the negotiations for your property, and excellent at spotting opportunities for you to leverage and get more of what you really want out of your house.
